For as long as I can remember, I’ve always been a big girl. I grew taller quicker, I put on weight easier, and it never seemed to come off. I became less active when my school’s soccer (forgive me, I’m American) team got cut, was teased for being the biggest girl on the basketball team, and injured my knee. As my physical health declined, my mental health plummeted. One day I saw Lucy on the SacconeJoly’s YouTube channel and I decided to check her out. I started off with the walking workouts and began to enjoy working out again. While I did do the student plan for a while, my knee wasn’t quite able to keep up. Plus, I was still very overweight. Hi Emily, I am so pleased this has reset you with your fitness and this was my aim with this 4 week plan, I design all my plans to be very specific to the individual needs and for me fitness and weight-loss is not a quick fix it is about educating and teaching how to simply move more, do fun exercises and this way we enjoy it and then the weight slowly comes off and stays off for good. So many people fall for the traps of sudden and dramatic weight loss which often is water and muscle tissue, and so the scales may say you have lost 1bs, it actually slows down the calorie burn and people end up putting more weight back on.
